We’re thrilled to share our Foodie Guide to A Touch of Disney at Disney California Adventure park! Our Disney chefs and beverage managers have been busy creating menus that include new items and several favorite classic dishes from around the resort for this new, limited-capacity ticketed experience that begins March 18, Thursdays through Mondays, from noon – 8 p.m.

This Foodie Guide lists all the bites – sweet and savory – and refreshing sips at the more than 25 locations – including six marketplaces themed for A Touch of Disney. In addition to all the great food and drink, Guests will have a chance to see Disney characters, shop for the latest Disney merchandise, and pose at fun photo locations.

We encourage Guests to take advantage of mobile order on the Disneyland mobile app for added convenience and promote contactless payment. We have noted the mobile order locations at A Touch of Disney in this Foodie Guide, and, yes, Guets can now even mobile order a churro from Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land!

Beginning March 11, table reservations for Lamplight Lounge and Carthay Circle Lounge – Alfresco Dining will be made available for A Touch of Disney. Table reservations do not provide admission to A Touch of Disney. A Touch of Disney ticket is required to dine at those locations on the same day as the table reservation.

To help maximize Guests’ time – and minimize contact with others – during their visit to Disney California Adventure park, we are now offering mobile check-in and mobile wait-list at select locations, available on the Disneyland mobile app. 

Mobile check-in – If Guests have a confirmed reservation at Lamplight Lounge or Carthay Circle Lounge – Alfresco Dining, they’ll receive a push notification on the Disneyland mobile app when their check-in window arrives. They can scan their QR code near the restaurant’s entrance; there’s no need to visit the host stand. They will be seated once their entire party has arrived. 

Mobile walk-up – While dining reservations are highly recommended, Guests can also add themselves to the mobile walk-up list (subject to availability) for Lamplight Lounge and Carthay Circle Lounge – Alfresco Dining using the Disneyland mobile app. If Guests don’t find walk-up list availability right away, they can check estimated wait times and look for reservations that may be available later in the day.

With the health and safety of everyone in mind, A Touch of Disney will operate with limited capacity and enhanced health and safety measures in place based on guidance from health authorities, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and appropriate government agencies.

The freshest flavors of spring – on the plate and in the glass – are showcased at Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival March 3 through July 5, 2021.

This Foodie Guide lists all the sweet and savory bites as well as refreshing sips at the over 20 festival-exclusive Outdoor Kitchens. The newest Outdoor Kitchens are the EPCOT Sunshine Griddle offering delicious brunch items, and EPCOT Farmers Feast, where a rotating seasonal menu will offer the finest local ingredients through the festival. And check out the new Orange Bird sipper – how is it possible he is even more adorable this year?

Returning is the Garden Graze, a fun food stroll highlighting five delicious offerings at the festival – all listed in the Festival Passport. Upon their Garden Graze purchase, Guests will receive a stamp for your Festival Passport. Once they’ve collected all five stamps, they can bring their Festival Passport to Pineapple Promenade Outdoor Kitchen to receive a complimentary prize exclusive to the festival. Guests can complete the Garden Graze at their leisure, and they can even bring back your stamped Festival Passport to EPCOT at any time during the festival to complete your Garden Graze.

Also new for this year’s festival are some tasty musical morsels for Guests’ ears! Each weekend, they can enjoy a series of concerts featuring local bands from Orlando, also known as the “City Beautiful.” Friday through Monday evenings, these “City Beautiful” bands will take the stage at America Gardens Theatre to perform popular songs of yesterday and today.

Meet Music-loving ‘Olu Mel at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa

Now Guests can meet ‘Olu Mel, A Disney Friend of Duffy, at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, playing endearing and uplifting music on his ‘ukulele. While he is known to be a bit shy, he is happiest enjoying nature and making others smile with his music, which is exactly what brought him to Aulani Resort.

Mel is short for “melody,” and ‘Olu Mel got this nickname from Duffy and ShellieMay after they heard his beautiful singing. He finds inspiration for his songs in the rhythm of nature, including the gentle trade winds of Hawai‘i, rolling sounds of waves and the patter of tropical rain on leaves. When he plays, he puts his whole heart into the song, knowing his friends will feel the love in every note.  

Guests can meet ‘Olu Mel as well as other favorite Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Stitch on their next trip to Aulani Resort.

The Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts began today at Walt Disney World Resort, celebrating visual, culinary and performing arts from around the world. Through Feb. 22, you can experience this celebration as part of regular park admission, with something to satisfy every palate – and every palette!

The festival invites you to eat great works of art. More than 15 Food Studios throughout the park offer imaginative, art-inspired food and drink featuring clever culinary creations cooked up by Disney chefs.

• NEW! Vibrante & Vívido Food Studio – located between Morocco and France in World Showcase – features a Chilled Seafood Cocktail, Blue Corn Pupusa and Passion Fruit Mousse, along with a Coconut and Passion Fruit Smoothie and more.
• The Artist’s Table at The American Adventure offers a menu that includes Beef Wellington, a Sipping Chocolate Flight and guest-favorite Artist Palette Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookie.
• The Painter’s Palate in World Showplace features Prime Steak Tartare, Pistachio Cake and a selection of cocktails.
• Festival Favorites – also in World Showplace – offers Remy’s Ratatouille, a Lemon Blood-Orange Tart, the Neapolitan Beer Flight and more.

More than 100 talented artists will visit the park over the course of the 46-day event, showcasing pieces in a wide variety of styles and disciplines. You can explore Festival Markets throughout the park to purchase new discoveries and, in some cases, meet the artists in person (while adhering to physical-distancing protocols).

• Disney-inspired art is available throughout Festival Markets, ranging in styles from classic to whimsical to edgy. Non-Disney art is available, as well.
• Visiting artists create new pieces live during the festival, providing insight into their processes and personalizing pieces for Guests.
• Artists and Festival Markets will rotate throughout the festival, so your Clients are likely to find something new each time they visit.
• Event-specific merchandise is available throughout the park, including shirts, caps, face coverings, trading pins, MagicBands, homeware and more.

This year’s festival also offers a multi-disciplinary showcase of performances, including music and visual arts.

• NEW! Voices of Liberty take the America Gardens Theatre stage with a brand-new showcase – the Disney Songbook. Featuring classic Disney tunes, this lively performance celebrates the artistry of Disney composers.
• Performance artists rotate throughout the festival in World Showplace, including thrilling feats of strength from Art Defying Gravity, a pianist playing favorite Disney songs, and a high-energy onstage performance by a guest artist who paints Disney characters in only a matter of minutes.
• You can also take in the festive atmosphere created by the popular JAMMitors, performing live on the Mill Stage in the Canada pavilion.

The festival also creates plenty of ways for you to express their own artistic talents and style.

• The Animation Academy at America Gardens Theatre features a Disney artist providing guests a step-by-step lesson in drawing Disney characters.
• Expression Section: A Paint-by-Number Mural invites you to help complete a larger-than-life piece of art created for the festival by Disney Imagineers.
• Around World Showcase, you can step into famous artwork in special photo-opportunity installations.
• On the bridge from Future World to World Showcase, you will discover the work of imaginative chalk artists.  You can also find chalk drawings of Disney characters tucked away in corners throughout World Showcase.
• With Spin Art, you can create their own art by choosing favorite colors and then “spinning” them to life via a specially made stationary bicycle.
• Through Enemy Ink, you can express your own special fashion sense by choosing a color, design and style and then watch as a custom t-shirt is printed right before their eyes.

In Figment’s Brush with the Masters, your Clients can help Figment learn more about art in a family-friendly scavenger hunt around World Showcase. After purchasing a map and stickers, Guests can look for Figment hiding inside famous works of art at each pavilion. Once they complete the journey, return the map to the park’s Disney Traders for an artful surprise.
